Must admit that I'm slightly hungover today. Damn the overservers... but wait... that was primarily my boyfriend and I. Hmm... my bad. Anyway, best show I've seen of DMB. I definitely missed LeRoi but I'm pretty sure the audience was movin' and groovin' for him.
So DMB played Crash. And Crush. Basically two of my fave songs. OMG. I went crazy. I mean, I'm sure I would've gone crazy if I would have been sober, but something about Captain Mo amplifies the mood. I was throwin' my hands in the air and didn't care. Swaying to the beat, screaming the lyrics (cuz no one could hear me anyway) and just kind of held my palms up to sky as if Dave were God and he was touching me. Cuz I mean, he kinda was. Yeah, Drew and I sat up in the lawn and Dave was touching me. Every beat, every rhythm, was touching me and sending pulses up and down my arms.
Intense, right? Well, that's just how good they are. There were some great jam sessions in which I just stared at the big screen looking at Boyd's biceps cuz they're better than Rafa Nadal's. And then I would stare at Carter who I think is the best drummer in the world. I love that he smiles when he plays. They all do. They are just up there jammin' and sharin' their love of music with the world. God I love them. All of them. Looks don't matter. If any one of the band members came up to me and starting playin' music, I'm pretty sure I would faint and then wake up and propose marriage. (No offense, Drew, but I'm sure you would too)
Speaking of Carter, he waved to Drew and I. Yeah, he did. When Drew and I pulled out of the parking lot after the show ended, the tour buses pulled out then as well. Drew started honking and waving and I started wavin' and screamin' (cuz I really didn't stop wavin' and screamin' all night) and all of a sudden, you see Carter in the passenger seat of one of the buses and he's waving right at us as they drove by us. I proceeded to scream and wave even more. Shocking, I know.
Oh and Drew and I were approached by some weird hick dudes from Florida during our twosome tailgate session. They were pretty chill. Weird, but chill. I gave them hugs after the show. Besides, they had a sick Dodge truck with a Hemi. White and lifted, just how I like 'em. Some chicks came around and took a picture of the hillbillies and I during the super cool 4-person tailgate. Drew was absent due to bladder needs.

Anyway, I HIGHLY suggest you see Dave this tour. DO IT. DO IT TO IT. It was amazing. Fun. Jammin'. Full of DMB lovin'.
