Anonymous asked me to address how to find the energy to move forward...

If you've made your list of things that make you happy, focus on them. It's hard to avoid the things that make you miserable and drive you crazy, but if you gravitate whatever energy you have left towards something positive, the miserable things become a bit more manageable.

Finding the time and energy is what makes accomplishing things so difficult. But you need to take your goals one step at a time. If you focus on the positive things in life, no matter how plenty or few, you'll find more energy.

Metaphorically speaking, I also know that it's hard to refrain from eating ice cream too quickly... If you do, you get a brain freeze. Same thing when it comes to setting goals, too much on your plate, things will start to overflow. Get what I mean? Just take one bite at a time...

Again, take your time and don't rush yourself. I know you would like the miserable things to be over with as soon as possible, but in reality, things don't really happen that way. Set your goals, focus on accomplishing them. Close the doors to unnecessary stresses and open to the doors to new opportunities.

And keep in mind that only you control your attitude. You can't control how people act towards you, you can't control your boss, you can't control the real estate market, you can't control food or gas prices, but you can control how you react to certain situations that come your way. Wake up in the morning and tell yourself that you're going to MAKE it a great day. Every day you wake up, stretch out the soreness, give yourself a motivational quote and compliment and get ready to take on the day. I don't care if that means writing on your mirror in lipstick that your ass really is great or that your wrinkles are only smile lines from being so happy all the time. Whatever it takes, you do it.

Does that help?
