Livin' Off The Wall

I'm at work. Bored. Surprise surprise.

So I just painted my nails red. Yep, red. Normally I'm a black, maroon, deep purple kind of gal, but in the spirit of Independence Day and a longing for something drastic, I felt red was appropriate. I mean, very, very rarely do I wear a color that actually shows, well, color. You should be proud of me.

The nail tech brought me Starbs this morning. Venti black iced tea is to die for. And honestly, my morning starts off better if I have some.

Michael Jackson. I really miss him. Sounds stupid, I know. But the fact that he's dead doesn't make the rainbow brighter. But overall, I'm pleased with the amount of his music that has been frequenting the radio. I mean, I have my iPod in the car so obviously he's been playing on repeat for the past week. But seriously, I would listen to at least one MJ song a day, especially during my work out. Don't Stop Til You Get Enough makes me do things I never thought I could do. Word of advice: don't try to moonwalk on the tread mill. Doesn't work out too well. However, I highly suggest you take advantage of dancing and singing while working out. I've noticed my breathing technique has gotten better and more controlled.

Last night was 4th of July. Drew, his friend Brooks and I went out to Tempe Marketplace to meet up with some of their frat bros and their fiances. Everyone was really nice. Weird thing though: I didn't drink because I was DD but today, I have the WORST headache. What the heck is up with that? I mean, if I had a few drinks, then I wouldn't be perplexed about this situation. Oh, another thing. Apparently my wonderfully amazing boyfriend just so happens to be a wonderfully amazing bullrider. Yeah... about that... we were at Cadillac Ranch last night. They have a mechanical bull ride there. I leave the rest to your imagination, but he was actually really good. Best rider of the night. I took a picture... soon to follow.

15 minutes left of work. Woo!

Actually, I'm gonna sign off now. The DJ at the pool is playing MJ's Off The Wall.

So tonight, gotta' hang that 9 to 5 up on the shelf. And just enjoy yourself. Ooooh, let the madness and the music get to you. Life ain't so bad at all...llll. You're livin' off the wall.

PEACE.

PS. I'm gonna be MJ for Halloween. And no, there's no stopping me. But yes, there will be a sequined glove involved.
