Mom, Dad and Lyss were invited so it was absolutely wonderful to be able to party and groove to the tunes with them. And another absolutely wonderful thing was that I was able to bring a date... my handsome man! I think he had a great time and I know my parents and sis did too!
Funniest thing: my sis stole the bouquet from me. No lie. I took my heels off after the ceremony cuz my feet were in so much god awful pain that I had to, so I was wearing sandals at the reception. My sis, who is naturally taller than me to begin with, was wearing her heels. So when Bre threw the bouquet over her head, as it was headed right into my hands, I saw my sister's hand fly over my head as she wrapped her fingers around the bouquet. It was seriously like a matrix move or something. It was crazy!
So since she caught the bouquet, she got to dance with Scott, garter recipient. It was hilarious. They did their own version of the tango or something. I dunno. But it was awesome. I was jeal.
Anyway, many feet aches and dress malfunctions later, it was a lovely wedding. I'm so happy for Bre and Kevin and hope they enjoy their lives together!
