Lo Writer: Grand Canyon Camping

So, apparently Drew is quite the happy camper. Literally. He had an itch to camp, so we went to the Grand Canyon. We met up with his friend Nicole; a park ranger at the Grand Canyon... she's famous. Her ranger picture is on every bus up there. She is super cool and I loved meeting her. Instead of staying at her place, we camped in her "backyard." We stayed in the infamous Indy 500 Crash and Trash tent... aka the tent that's really only meant for 1 adult or 2 small children. It was a lot of fun! The weather was perfect! Famous Ranger Nico was an awesome tour guide!

The GC is more amazing than I remember it to be. On the first day, we went hiking on one of the canyon trails. When the winds picked up, we decided to leave because strong gusts of wind on the edge of a giant canyon isn't really a good idea, in case you didn't know. The hike back up the canyon was a difficult one for me. Not gonna lie, but I survived! Oh, I survived the camping part, too. Yikes!
