Ok, so one of my previous posts was about how Mondrian went down and a new hotel would begin. And it did. Hotel Theodore (named after el presidente). And guest what! Although the spa is still closed, and looks like it's going to be closed for a while, I was able to make my way into front desk/concierge. I took a slight pay cut which sucks, but I have a job. I can pay my bills and I can get health insurance again. Awesome! I'm stoked about it. I'm still keeping an open door and open mind to event planning opportunities, perhaps just as someone who "supervises the event" on event dates. So we'll see.
Anyway, I just wanted to keep you in the loop in case you were just soooo interested in knowing.
