Lo Writer: Number 23.

Yesterday was my 23rd birthday. Cannot believe it. I'm 23. Hmm...

Anyway, I worked all day yesterday where the only calls I received were personal and where the internet could only do so much to keep me entertained. But that's okay because I got paid to sit and surf. However, I had a nice visit from sissy with a $5 foot long in hand for lunch! Loved it! Thanks Lyssy Poo Poo Doo Doo.

After work, I met up with my man for some messican food and margaritas. Mmmm. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best, but the food was good and so was the marg. The company wasn't bad either. ;-)

After dinner, Drew and I went back to the Ogle condo where he had a lovely display of my present, card and something hiding underneath a gigantic bowl. He lifted the bowl and revealed a fabulous birthday cake. He told me that Lyss was the baker and creator. She makes the best cakes! "Happy Birthday" candles were placed perfectly, too!

After blowing out the candles, it was time for me to open my card and gift. Ok, the card would have been enough for me. It is the cutest card I think I have ever seen. I took a picture of it (see below). The present... wow. The first things I pulled out of the bag were so funny. Drew had picked up the latest "Homes and Land" magazines and an Apartment Magazine, all free at your local grocery store. He knows I'm obsessed with these. I never fail to grab them right before exiting the store. At the bottom of the gift bag was a little purple box. I opened the box and saw MY earrings!

Ok, so when I was in Indiana, Kathe and I went to her friend's boutique shop to check out the selection... great selection by the way. When we were there, my eye got sealed to these beautiful jade dangle earrings. I loved loved loved them. The only problem was that they were out of my price range, so I had to let them go. Never thought I would see them again. I know Kathe had something to do with my present!! Anyway, I'm pretty sure Andrew bought them and had Kathe bring them to California the weekend the Salgado's and Ogle's met. How crazy! The earrings are beautiful and I absolutely love them. I wore them for the rest of the night until bed time!

Overall, I had a wonderful birthday. I got a lot of facebook birthday wishes, text messages, I had my family call and sing to me at 10:05am (the time I was born), I had my sissy sing to me and visit me and bake me a cake, my boyfriend treated me like an extra special princess, his parents called me (and Kathe included a Marilyn Monroe version of the birthday song), I got fabulous earrings and I even got back tickles after dinner and dessert cuz those are my favorite!! Fabulous birthday and thank you thank you thank you to all who made me feel special!

Oh, I forgot. Caysie, one of my lovely coworkers, got me a card and some yummy Smackers lipgloss. The card is hilarious. I took a picture of it (forewarning: it's kinda vulgar). Heidi, one of my other coworkers, gave me a birthday facial! Fabulous! Thanks ladies!
